Delete the file. Then reproduce the error. After that check the file.

If that doesn't give any indication I'd have to debug your ROM which I may not have time for. I'm guessing you may have solved your issue since you haven't responded.

Looks like it crashes on trying to draw the image of the cry. Can't really help you with that unfortunately.

I did not know that PGE had support today. Well in this opportunity I would like to know if it is possible to edit the table of characters so that it supports the Latin characters such as Ñ, ñ, among others

A lot of times when I try to use PGE, I'll get an unhandled exception, and it will sometimes say a variety of things, such as non negative number required, or conversion from double to string, etc. Leon just uploaded his ultimate Fire Red rombase that includes an ini for for PGE, and even using that I'll get these errors when I try to access Pokemon or Trainers. I've even tried different versions of the program.

The person that created the base must provide you their ini.

Well then you need to follow up with the creator of the patch as he most likely missed something on the ini.
So I figured out my problem, and it was that the rom that I thought was clean was actually modified slightly, and caused issues with the patching. PGE opens it just fine now, however I have some new issues.

So the game I'm making is having a Pokedex of around 370 from Pokemon ranging from gens 1 - 6, so I figured instead of expanding the dex, I would just replace the ones that I wasn't using. The creator of the rom base provided importable files with all of their information for PGE, so I just inserted them onto the ones I wasn't using, as well as updated the sprites with newer ones. Doing this caused the Pokedex in game to turn a purple color, and glitch out as soon as I check locations of Pokemon I've seen.

I thought maybe exporting all of the Pokemon and then importing them all at once with the import all Pokemon feature on a new rom might work, but it caused the program to crash and then I could no longer open the rom in PGE anymore. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: I figured out the problem with the purple glitchy dex, it was just some values in a hex editor I needed to change to fix it. But now I'm trying to use the habitat editor the change around my inserted Pokemon, and when I increase the number of Pokemon per page, it copies over the next Pokemon from the next page. I tried using FSF to grab some free space to repoint it to, but it glitched out when I tried it. Am I doing it wrong? I haven't tried to expand the number of pages yet, but I assume that's going to cause issues as well.

Put dummy data in the free space.
